DIABLO 4: Final Bosses & Lair Bosses
Lair Bosses are the most efficient method for farming Uniques in Diablo 4. Unlocked once you reach Torment I, these encounters yield higher chances for high-tier Ancestral Uniques as you scale up the difficulty.
When targeting top-tier loot, boss choice matters: Duriel, Andariel, and the Harbinger of Hatred feature double the Mythic Unique drop rate of standard Lair Bosses. However, Belial stands out as the ultimate target—guaranteeing an Ancestral Unique in every drop and offering the single highest Mythic Unique drop chance in the game.

How Lair Boss Loot Works in Diablo 4
You no longer need crafting materials to summon Lair Bosses—simply defeat the boss and unlock the Hoard chest using your own Lair Boss Keys to claim your rewards.
Key Loot Rules & Drop Mechanics:
Guaranteed Boss Drops: The first Unique item dropped is guaranteed to come from the boss’s specific loot pool.
General Unique Chance: Extra Unique drops have a 50% chance to roll from the global Unique pool.
Torment Scaling: Torment III adds an extra guaranteed Unique, and Torment IV increases total boss rewards from 6 to 7 Uniques.
Party Bonus: Fighting in a group adds a 33% chance per additional player for another Unique to drop.
What Are Lair Keys in Diablo 4 ?
